#1. What experience do I need before taking this course?
Learners should have completed Welcome to ServiceNow and Scripting in ServiceNow Fundamentals, and have hands-on experience navigating and working within the ServiceNow platform. Experience writing both client-side and server-side JavaScript in ServiceNow is required.
#2. Will I build a real application during the course?
Yes. Participants build a loaner equipment application from scratch throughout the course, working through design decisions, form creation, access control, automation, integration, and testing in a hands-on environment.
#3. What tools and frameworks are covered in this course?
The course covers ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, the Automated Test Framework, the Application Repository, and source control integration, among other platform development tools.
#4. Does this course lead to a certification?
This course supports preparation for the ServiceNow Certified Application Developer exam. ServiceNow recommends gaining at least two to three months of additional hands-on experience after completing the course before attempting the exam.
