The ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Service Mapping certification is for professionals who want to demonstrate their ability to configure, implement, and maintain the ServiceNow Service Mapping application.
It focuses on how specialists design and troubleshoot service mapping patterns, configure service maps, and integrate Service Mapping with Discovery and Event Management. Candidates also learn how to maintain the CMDB and ensure accurate service visibility across an organization’s IT infrastructure.
This certification is well suited for professionals working on ITOM deployments who are responsible for mapping business services to the underlying infrastructure components that support them.
The CIS-DF (CMDB and CSDM) certification is a prerequisite for this exam.
Candidates are expected to have around six months of field experience and participation in at least two ITOM deployments with a primary focus on Service Mapping. Intermediate or above Windows and Unix administration skills are also recommended.
